It took a long time until the sturgeon breeders could produce a caviar similar to the wild Ossetra. This very sensitive prehistoric bone fish demanded all the knowledge of marine biologists until he was able to adapt to controlled aquaculture breeding from 2008 onwards. Meanwhile, the Russian sturgeon is a “open minded” fish and thrives in aqua farms in Bulgaria, Italy, Israel, China and Uruguay.
A species-appropriate attitude is important to us and also guarantor for our top class caviar quality. Our sturgeons live in a vast and natural lake landscape. This provides the fish enough habitat and water. The sturgeon caviar breeding is supervised by our experienced caviar master. He now has more than 40 years of experience in caviar breeding.
Shelf life and ingredients:
Freshness is very important to us. In order to offer you the greatest possible freshness, we only fill the caviar right after you placed your order. All our sturgeon caviar varieties are durable, unopened in the refrigerator at 4 ° C for at least 8 weeks. After you once opened the caviar dose, the Imperial Gold Caviar is still edible for about 1-2 days with the lid pressed tight. Please note the sticker with the current usage date on its box.
